Church Street Nursery
Church Street Nursery is a vital, affordable provision in Westminster for local families. In August 2007 Ofsted awarded the Nursery a double outstanding in care and education, a score achieved by only one in 50 providers. Open 51 weeks of the year, the Nursery has 20 full-time equivalent places and provides full day care, sessional care and a crèche. We keep fees to a minimum and many parents can access subsidies as they are attending education or training courses. Over 90% of the children who attend come from Black and Ethnic Minority families and for most, English is not their first language. We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure children leave the nursery confident and well prepared for school.
One parent says "My child loves coming here. Every night before going to bed she says to me she wants to go to the nursery in the morning."
