Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg visits Nursery - 11 November 2011
Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Children's Minister, Sarah Teather dropped in to our Church Street Nursery on Friday 11 November.
They chatted to staff and children, read stories and played with sand – see photograph. Church Street Nursery has a double outstanding from OFSTED and was a pilot site for the funding of two year olds. Because of this, we were chosen as a location for a government announcement to roll out the scheme. Photographers and a cameraman from ITN recorded the visit.
