St Margaret's Drop-in Centre

Located in a bright, modern ground floor building, RADICLE’s St Margaret’s Drop-in Centre last year welcomed 203 older people. Westminster’s high levels of prosperity are juxtaposed with significant poverty and deprivation. Most of the older people who attend St Margaret’s Drop-in Centre live alone and are on benefits. Over the year we served 7,156 cooked lunches and 6,737 other refreshments. Each week we run a varied programme of activities such as bingo, arts and crafts, sing-a-long, keep-fit, board games, music and dancing. People greatly appreciate the hot nutritious meal we serve, but having somewhere to meet people and chat to friends is also very important to them.

There are 25,000 residents aged 65 or over in the London Borough of Westminster, 50% of them live alone.

If you are over 50 and unemployed or retired you are welcome at St Margaret’s Drop-in Centre at 1 Carey Place, Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 2RT Tel: 020 7821 1621 See the location and find out more in this about St Margarets Drop-in Centre.
